Today's theme was
DISTRESS INK!!!! During CHA I had the pleasure of attending Lisa Strahl's Mini Ranger U in the foyer of the Marriott with my some of my CHF teammates. We had a great evening of chit chat and of course learned a few things about using Ranger Distress Inks and blending too *wink*
I own about 10 distress inks but was thrilled to buy the remainder this week because CHF is featuring them as a product spotlight and they are on
sale (who can resist a sale???) One of the things I LOVE most about product
spotlights is that provides information for you so you can learn more about the product. In addition, CHF also provides you with step by step instructions on how to use the product as well as various examples through the
tutorial. Essentially CHF brings you your OWN mini Ranger University right to your computer screen. Gotta love that!
Tidbit: The top paper was a cream colour originally. I used various distress inks and blended them together with the Ink Blending Tool. (a must have! )

Oooh! Gorgeous colors and textures! LOVE IT! Can I ask, -- with the blending tool... do you need to have a different pad for each ink... or how does it work? I used the same pad each time. I just pressed it over some scrap paper until the colour was lighter before I applied a new one. That being said, I have a blending pad for lighter colours and one for darker colours.
