Garden of Life (2)

Can you believe we are in the final days of the countdown? You know what that means... *smiles*

I am SO excited about today's cards. When I created Garden of Life I was thinking about some fun ways of utilizing the stamps. You have already seen that some of the stamps are 2 step stamping what if I told you that I also created some of these stamps to have 3-d potential? I adore dimension on cards because they "pop" as well as have an interesting look.

I don't have Nichole's new patterned paper but can say with confidence that it will be IDEAL for this tutorial. Since I had to improvise I used one of my fav lines from Cosmo Cricket called Dutch Girl.

Here is the 3-D "look" you will be achieving by following this tutorial:

And now onto the 3-D tutorial.

Step 1:
I began by stamping two of the same images. You will need a minimum of two for each 3-d flower you create.

Step 2:
Either follow the line and cut it OR cut selected pieces (see the top card for an example of this)

Step 3:
Place pop dots/dimensionals to the back side of your cut image.

Note: To achieve more "pop" add more dimensionals

Step 4:
Line it up on your flower and adhere.

Finished mini card (measures 3x4)

And here they are together!

Supplies

paper: Stampers Select White Cardstock by PTI
patterned paper: Dutch Girl by Cosmo Cricket
ink:
Black Palette
stamps: Garden of Life (Urban Design) by PTI
accessories: dimensionals
tools:
scor-pal, sewing machine, corner rounder by EK Success, scissors

Thank you for yesterdays comments. I have another draw coming and will be including names from all the comments I have received.
So what do you think of today's tutorial? Do you have any questions about it?

...only 1 more day left..be sure you tune in again tomorrow to see a special gift for mum (and more flower dimension)
