Shapes by Design Day 4

Are you ready for the next shape???

Today's colour scheme is one of my favourites. It was inspired from a magazine ad for bedding--The colours are so soothing!

I began by stamping the outline image in black. Then I stamped the inside of the rectangle and square using blue, brown and taupe. I just love the freedom of choosing the colours you see fit for your project.

You'll note that I inked up the "just" and the "because" separately so that I could stamp them vertically. That is what I LOVE about clear stamps because you can see exactly where you are placing them.

After I finished stamping my colours, I prepared the base of my card by sewing around the edges.

As a final touch, I placed a white flower by Maya Roads along with a button in the left hand corner.

I just love how it turned out.

supplies
paper: Stampers Select White by Papertrey Ink, Bashful Blue by SU!, Close to Cocoa by SU!, Chocolate Chip by SU!

stamps: Shapes by Design (Urban Design by Alli Miles) Papertrey Ink
accessories: flower from the white collection by Maya Roads, button by MME

I hope you have a terrific day! I am off to CHA today WOHOO!!!!!

So which is your favourite image so far?

This is gorgeous! ...so retro chic! I would have said that my fave so far was the rows of circles until I saw this cute, cute card...now I think that I like the rectangles best. :D smiles...

I love absolutely everything about your set! I'm a real sucker for any geometric designs and the funkier the better. Your set definitely fits the bill! Great job girlie!

So very cool!! I love this square/rectangle image - very retro, yet so modern at the same time. I still think my fave (if I had to pick just one) is the flowers in the big circle from the reveal day. You rock Alli!!

I love all of the images so far. I cannot wait to own this stamp set.
My two favorite would have to be todays shapes and then day 2/3's shape. I love that you can stamp your own colors in the middles to create your own palette of colors.

What talent!

Hi Mz. Alli, Balli, Bo Balli...
I am a circle girl myself and I love those circles! I'm sure i could easily be 'turned' into a rectangle gal esp. since I have a boy lol.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I love that design, too I don't have a favorite - I just love them all and can't wait to get them in my hot little hands!

They're all so versatile, but I'd have to say my favorite is the first one, with the flowers in the circle. Can't wait to see the whole set!

I'm still stuck on your circles - loving those! These rectangles are fresh and funky - sort of reminds me of that retro 60's furniture you see in the Austin Powers movies. LOL

I like this - especially because I have so many male cards to produce. Having said that - am loving all the sneak peaks we are getting for the new Papertrey releases. Enjoy CHA - Peta

Oh, Alli...I thought there were just circles (not that I was thinking 'just'...I was totally excited about all the possibilities with those circles!!) There are other shapes, too?!?!?? Seriously, I'm not sure I can handle all this excitement!! The card is GORGEOUS! Do I have to pick a favorite? I guess I'll have to go with today's since it reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright's stained glass window designs, and I {love} brown and blue right now...but the circles are so great, and there are just SO MANY POSSIBILITIES.

okay, I'll stop gushing now :o) I love it, love it, love it, and that's all I have to say!!

Enjoy CHA...lucky, lucky girl!
