Our Homeschooling Life...

 **This is not stamp related.

As many of you know I have a son with unique needs and in May of 2009, shortly after our move, he began a new journey in his life....homeschooling.  Lucky for me I am a teacher (although that is not a requirement) and had been working with homeschool families for 3 years before he came home and in many ways I know that the lessons I learned over those three years were preparing me for my new role in life.  Little did I know, last year was also going to prepare me for this year and another new role...one as a special education support teacher.  The plan was always there for me and the timing was right I just have to trust in the process.  God is great!

So anyways, over the course of the past few months I have received a few e-mails asking me about what I am planning to teach my son this year.  Andrew is going into grade 3.  He is borderline autistic and gifted.  In grade two he was working at the grade upper 2 to 6 level in some things and his writing was at the K level.  Andrew's brain works faster than you can imagine.  He received information very well (input) but his output is somewhat disorganized and his writing is messy. We started a neurodevelopment plan with him late last spring which essentially goes back to his baby and early years and helps him to finish building the pathways in his brain.  At some point those pathways just ended and never connected on the other side so slowly but surely we are rebuilding those pathways (or finishing the construction in my head as my son likes to refer to it) so that his input matches his output.  All I can say is "Watch out world because Andrew is going to make a difference!".  I just love his clever mind, his passion for things in life and his patience.  He has learned so much about himself this past year and I know that without homeschooling none of this would have been possible.  While he is still severely sensory processing and struggles with some of his social skills not to mention ADHD and a whole gamete of co-morbid conditions he is getting much better by the day.  It's the small steps that count the most in the long run.  He really makes me proud.

Our day starts between 8-9AM every day.  My daughter has school before 9AM so we often walk her down together and he comes home refreshed and motivated.  We always start our day with Bible and end doing something fun!  It's just the way we work.  Today's fun was making paper airplanes and predicting which one would fly the farthest and then we did our trial run, flying races and took tallies to see if our predictions were correct (how is that for a mini math lesson on chance and probability?)

Ok...so now onto our homeschool curriculum since this is what I know many of you were asking... I have kept them general and not included EVERY thing that we do but have included the majority of our curriculum (for instance we use the Bible in our Bible course but I figure that is a given!).

I have hyperlinked most of the resources to help you too!

Bible
Fine Arts--General
Language Arts
On top of the above we have a library of Classical Novels (like Chronicles of Narnia, Wind in the Willows, Charlotte's Web (we have read this but are doing a study now), The Bears on Hemlock Mountain, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Rascal, A Bear Named Trouble, The Hatchet, Frightful's Mountain etc) comic books (which I use to teach dialogue and also help my son to recognize facial expressions) as well as newspaper clippings, newsletters etc.  My son also loves the Geronimo Stilton series for fun reading in addition to Flat Stanley.  Those are the types of books he reads at night before he goes to bed and he typically reads one a night so I don't mind him reading those books!

Math
Physical Education
  • Homeschool Skating Lessons (he goes once a week)
  • Swimming Lesson (he goes once a week)
  • Guide to Healthy Living/Canada Food Guide (we review this daily and do studies in health and wellness)
  • Awana Kids Club (30 minutes of exercise once a week)
  • Coop PE class Sept-Oct (5 weeks) and then again in Jan-March (1.5 hours a week)
  • biking, trampoline, Wii fit/sports, scootering, basketball, small games, soccer, baseball skills and more!
Science

Social Studies

We also complete a course called Health and Career Education and Andrew learns about these skills through some of the materials above and also real life applications and field trips.

I have a real eclectic approach to teaching but am also one of those classical education people too!  I just love the classics!!

The last thing that we do is a Neurodevelopmental Plan through Linda Kane  It was devised specifically for him to help him build those pathways so that he can get through his day to day tasks.  This is an intensive program that requires 2-3 hours or more a day.  It involves everything from crawling, the auditory and visual sequencing, to helping with tastes and textures etc.

So there you have it!  You asked and now you know what I do on a daily basis on top of supporting my other students and all the other things I do LOL.

Hugs;
Alli

Mum's Isagenix Story

This post is not stamp related...it is a personal post.

Many of you have followed my journey of change through Isagenix.  Throughout that time I updated you on my husband's progress along with my mum's progress.  Today I have the pleasure of sharing my mum's story with you and what a transforming and moving journey too.

For as long as I can remember my mum has struggled with weight.  Through the ups and downs the lbs seemed to find a place in her life...she tried to replace them with new things, new activities, more exercise, healthy foods, the latest "diet" and yet nothing seemed to work, that is until Isagenix entered her life.  The struggles she faced on a daily basis took a toll on her well being.  She hide behind clothes, never let us take photos of her (and if we did she used to take them a get rid of them), she avoided places like the pool and beach, she suffered from low self-esteem and throughout much of this time she felt alone. I know some of you have been there before whether you had a little or a lot of weight to lose.  Weight gain is difficult to talk about.  In fact, we often avoid talking about it because it makes us feel worse.  If there is one lesson my mum has learned, and one she is sharing now is that talking about it can be liberating.  Sure it is scary.  Sure you leave yourself vulnerable but you know...talking about weight is how I am helping her share her story.

On June 3rd mum weighed in at 199.6lbs and 393 3/4 inches. FYI, inches are measured around neck, arms, chest, diaphragm, waist, abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and knees.

Mum started her first day by posting some key things on her fridge including her motivational photos (what she wanted to leave behind) and and goals (what she wanted to see in the future). This was her accountability!  You see, you have to be ready to commit to this with your 100%.  You are the one that can determine how far you go to meet your goals. By sharing them or keeping them visible you are reminding yourself what you truly want.  We all have goals in life so what better way than to speak them into existence!

There were several things I admired about mum's commitment.  The first is that she also kept a food/mood diary for each day of her 30 day cleanse.  It became a quick reference tool and also provided insight about the patterns and habits she had created in her life.  Inspired by my mum, and while I wasn't as diligent, I did start keeping a few notes and those notes helped me understand my snacking, moods and my dependency of certain foods too.  By knowing what you eat, why you eat, your moods and your dependencies you can keep achieve your goals more readily not to mention understand the inner workings of your body.  Second, mum created an exercise schedule.  She started small because honestly even adding 5 or 10 minutes into a non existent exercise routine can have a huge return.  She began with some walking.  She added a few minutes of stationary bike time.  Then she joined a ladies aqua fit class.  Slowly but surely she added more and more time for "her".

First photo.... just shy of 200lbs.  This was the "fridge photo" she referred to for inspiration...

This past April my brother moved to his first house.  Shortly after he arrived my mum flew in for a quick visit.  During that visit she enjoyed spending time with my brother and his fiancee (at the time...they are now married).  My brother took many photos during their visit and little did he know this one would be the one that triggered change!

July 10, 2010.  This photo was taken at my son's birthday party.  We both had lots to celebrate that day.  It was the last day of my 30 day cleanse and mum was 1 week into her second thirty day cleanse.  She weighed 175lbs.

August 7th 2010.  This photo was taken at my brother's wedding.  Mum was 15lbs down from the photo above and now 160lbs.

I had the pleasure of attending an Isagenix event with my beautiful momma on September 9th, 2010!!  She looks amazing in person.  This photo just doesn't do her justice.  She is proudly sporting 147lbs and is down to 320 inches.

Mum's total loss to date is 52.6 lbs and 73.75 inches!!!--Mum you make me so proud!!  You look amazing and I love you.

When I asked mum about her story she shared this:

"The insecurity and need to be loved, to be accepted left somewhere along the Isagenix journey from 200 pounds to 147 pounds. A new found happiness is not the only fundamental change.  I finally look and feel like a woman who is comfortable in her skin.
I am fulfilling a lifelong dream discovering that I am beautiful from the outside in and from the inside out."
Mum's journey is not over yet.  She has set a new goal of 140lbs and that will be followed by 135lbs at the end of November.  You see, the weight didn't arrive over night and mum has paced herself to reach attainable goals in increments.  You can better believe that once she reaches 135lbs I will be posting again. Also if you haven't read many Isagenix success stories I highly recommend you do!

We all have a story in life.  We all have a voice. Take charge...  Let's face it, our culture has created an expectation, a standard that we feel we have to live up to.  I am certainly not advocating that everyone has to lose weight to feel better however I am here to say your health and wellness should be one of your priorities in life.  You have one life to live and it is right now, right here! Treasure the gift you have been given and look after yourself.  You are extremely important!!!!!  Don't wait until tomorrow because it might be too late.  Have you looked at the statistics for cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes etc?  We are facing epidemic rates. You can make a difference and you can increase your odds of living, people do it every day! Have you struggled with weight? Have you struggled with health problems? Are you ready for something new and liberating?

Isagenix offers programs and products for people of all ages from birth to old age.  There are products to help increase lean muscle mass, detox, decrease stress, boost immunity, increase greens and fruit intake, improve complexion, increase mineral and vitamin levels and more.

We would love to help you reclaim your life. We take this very seriously and commit 100% help along the way.  You are never alone through this process.

If you want more information about programs or product feel free to contact me (or my mum) and we will be happy to help you.  Make sure to include Isagenix in the title and tell us what goals you are hoping to meet.

Thanks again for stopping by!

September and summer memories

Hello friends!! I have really missed you and I have missed posting too.  I blinked and August was over.  I tried to rewind but somehow I still ended up in September!!  How about you?  Do you find that as you get older time starts moving exponentially?

I look at my life and remember how when I was a kid time could not move fast enough.  I remember being bored and not having a single thing to do. I remember as a teen things were moving faster but still not fast enough and then in my twenties it started to speed up even more...almost out of control.  Now I have to figure out how to schedule everything in...the activities, the driving, homeschooling, teaching, crafting, my design work, my shift working husband, the list goes on.  Don't get me wrong, those who know me know I like living in a constant state of "busy".  It takes me 3 days into a vacation before I can relax.  I try to do housework, help out or do anything other than sit.  By about day 3 I can pull out a good book and sit still for a period of time.  I also love to play card games or simply chat with others.  We truly had an incredible summer of geocaching, star gazing (especially the August meteor shower), swimming, boating, driving, reading, fair-going, weddings, gardening and family time.  I am so thankful that I have had some time to meet with both family and friends.

Here are some of the books I read this summer...

So Long; Insecurity by Beth Moore
I started reading this book in late April after I attended the So Long; Insecurity you are a bad friend simulcast at a nearby church.  I was moved by Beth's words (I always am; her Bible studies are my favourite!!!) and decided to buy the book at the event. I started it the night I returned bu unfortunately I was only reading about 12 pages a week between May and June because it was the end of the year and report cards were well under way.  What I really appreciated about this book was Beth's ability to share how all women are affected by insecurity to some degree.  Sometimes it's nice to know you are not alone.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella by Stephanie Meyer

Well I have to say that a couple of years ago my friend Sara convinced me to read this story about vampires.  I kept telling her I was NOT interested in vampires or stories about vampires and that truly it would be a book I'd end up using to light the campfire.  I got the book in August and put off reading it while I prepared my school year in September.  By about mid October I picked it up and read about 30 pages...then 130 pages...and suddenly I had to finish the book.  I ordered the other 3 in the series and within a month (keep in mind I was busy with report cards etc) I had read the most pages I had ever read in a month and a half in my entire life.  Yes, you guessed it the Twilight Series.  Mindless fun reading!!  I love all the books but especially Twilight.  I fell in love with the "love" story.  Suddenly it took me back to the early dating years with my now husband (ok so there was no vampire stuff...just the courting process).  So it will come as no surprise to learn that one of the books I read this summer was The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.

Shepherding a Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp

I just started reading this after my trip for "teacher training".  I have seen it on the shelves for years and have been meaning to pick it up but up until now have not.  I have only read about 50 pages but the message is deep and has stirred something within me.  Our kids are becoming more disconnected from us (parents) and more connected to peers and the outside world.  If you are looking for a way to connect with your children on a deeper level, a level with respect, a level with understanding, a level with unconditional love I highly recommend this read!  Another great one that I read several years ago (and VERY eye opening) is called

Hold Onto Your Kids: Why Parents Need to Matter more than Peers by Gordon Neufeld

I was never more aware of the influences in our society until I read this book.  As a school teacher I have seen many types of interactions among children.  I respect their need to be with others but in our high tech world and "busyness" our kids are looking for attention in all the wrong places.  This book grounded me and in many ways may be the reason I am now homeschooling my son and why I will likely homeschool my daughter in the future.  Of course you don't have to homeschool your kids to make the principles in this book work, instead you just need to slow down and listen to your kids before it is too late.

In the next few weeks I will be organizing my school year.  I meet or talk with my homeschool families about what their year looks like and draw up a student learning plan that outlines the learning outcomes they will meet, the goals they have for their children, the activities and strategies they plan to use, the evaluation and assessments they will implement and the resources they will be using.  In addition, I work with students who need special education assistance and I create IEPs (individual education plans) as well as draw up a plan and budget for the resources they need to meet their learning outcomes and purchase new resources and curriculum.  I also have the pleasure of working with students who receive learning services support (the students who don't get funded as special education students but who nonetheless require strategies and support for their learning).  I have the pleasure of working with students who struggle and who are gifted.  The best part about teaching is that no two students are alike.  It is my absolute pleasure to ensure that each of the students I work with (including their parents) have the best supports in place to create a fabulous learning environment where their needs are nurtured.  On top of all the fun above, I have the pleasure of home school my son again this year.  I have learned a lot in the past 1.5 years of homeschooling him.  Most days are hard but regardless of the day I have to be thankful.

I am pre-posting a card for tomorrow so for those of you who have been anxiously awaiting something paper craft related the waiting will soon be over LOL .  I have some projects in the works and of course PTI release time is around the corner ;)  so it won't be long before you are bombarded with new paper crafts from me again.  If only I could find more time in the day!

Wishing you all a fabulous September.  May it be abundantly rich and full of adventure.  Talk to you soon.

My health and wellness goal is almost met! Last July I took up running so I could lose weight (the walking wasn't doing it). I have since run an 8K and a 10K race and have lost 35 pounds - wanted to lose about 43 so I am almost there!

Update and My Brother's Wedding

My brother Drew got married to the love of his life Jenna on August 7th, 2010.  The morning after we left for a week long vacation to the lake. We had a wonderful family vacation and got back the night of the PTI release. As a result I have spent the past few days catching up on life, laundry and photography stuff. Yup. Photography.

Both my husband and I had the pleasure of being the photographers at my brother's wedding. I shared the invites with you in a previous post well now you get to see the "other work" we have been busily compiling. We will be visiting my brother and his beautiful wife in the next few weeks and we want to have all the photos edited for them. Because there were two cameras at work and we wanted to make sure we didn't get photos with blinking or open mouths etc we took A LOT of photos LOL.

Just over a year ago my brother dropped to one knee and asked Jenna to be his wife.  I still remember when he came to the house and showed me the ring.  I knew he planned to propose but I had NO idea he was planning that soon.  It was a special day because it was my son's birthday, a milestone birthday for Jenna's mom (and ALL her family was out to celebrate).  So anyways Drew and Jenna came over to celebrate Andrew's birthday but then had to rush off for Jenna's mom's birthday celebration.  So off they went and we were soon to follow.  I remember it was the HARDEST thing not to smile or say a word during their visit so I was giddy on the way to see the proposal which was at the lake in front of ALL of Jenna's family.  It was really special because Drew took her away from the crowd and told her he something really important to tell her.  She was nervous thinking it was something terrible because he was shaking and looked serious.  The next thing she knew he dropped to one knee and proposed.

So a year later, they cleaned up nicely and got married...they are so happy and so in love!  My greatest wish for you both is that through the years, your love for each other will deepen and grow and that years from now you will look back on this day, your wedding day, as the day you loved each other the least.  After 10 years of marriage I know this to be true!!  Love you both Drew and Jenna.

Isagenix 101 (updated Nov/2012)

*This is a long post.  I encourage you to take a few days to read the materials.  I will split them up by days.

DAY 1.

Your support has been amazing!! I can’t tell you how many wonderful stories I have heard from people who have 1) changed their lives using Isagenix 2) who are changing their lives with Isagenix 3) and who have supported me during my life transformation with Isagenix.

There is one remarkable thing about paper crafters; we truly are a tight knit community.  We have laughed, cried, smiled, cheered, encouraged, prayed etc for each other. And when we finally get to meet face to face through local events; CHA; retreats etc the bond is already there.  We are like old friends meeting for the first time. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me and letting me be there for you!

I continue to get asked questions about the programs; all valid and important questions; and I want those people considering Isagenix to be well informed; especially regarding support and enrolment.

PLEASE BE AWARE...There are many links online that lead you to other people's websites who are not always interested in helping you to achieve your goals; that being said there are definitely some fabulous coaches out there too.  Please know that while I have links on my blog to my personal Isagenix site I am committing my time to support you.  The teacher in me wants others to make informed decisions about your health.  No two people are the same when it comes to Isagenix even if you are ordering the same product.  I take into consideration a number of factors including your goals, the medication you take, your lifestyle and the supplements you need. These are critical factors that tell me if Isagenix is right for you.

“What is Isagenix?”

It’s a question I get asked a number of times a day but the simple truth is, because it’s so many things to so many people, it’s hard to sum it up.

Isagenix is essentially a super food that has been formulated with some of the best products around the world to help you improve your general health and well being.  The idea behind Isagenix was a health and wellness program for people who wanted to take charge of their health.  But it was the side effects that started selling this product!  Not only were people feeling better but they were losing weight and experiencing a multitude of other positive changes.

The ingredients are all natural, botanically derived with no stimulants or chemical additives.   The programs are nicely laid out, you receive a support book to show you what to do and how to achieve the best results, there are video supports and best of all you have support through your coach!

Isagenix to me is a life changing. It helped me release 14lbs as well as gain 5lbs of lean body muscle.  It helped my husband release 20lbs and my mum 67lbs!  At a time where I was personally feeling hopeless, tired and sick it was a second chance at a healthy life. Isagenix has also given me a tangible way to help other people. In addition, it has also brought incredible new people into my life--for which I am so thankful. Overall, Isagenix impacted my life in ways more profound than I ever believed a product could.  There truly is no time like the present to take control of your health! Have you had a chance to look at the success stories on the website?

Why Isagenix?

Why Not!  The best part is there is an Isagenix support system for everyone from kids to adults.

Are you athletic trying to build muscle?
Are you trying to lose weight?
Are you interested in youthful aging?
Are you trying to regain your health and boost your immunity?
Are you trying to gain weight?
Are you skipping meals?
Are you eating poorly?
Do you want to improve mental clarity?
Do you want more energy?
Do you need a place to start your new journey to health and wellness?

**Note: it is important that you consult with me if you are pregnant and/or nursing as some of the products are not suitable.

What are the benefits of Nutritional cleansing?

   strengthens your immune system
supports health brain chemistry to give you clarity of thought
restores antioxidants to help your body with the effects of pollution
slows down the effect of aging on the body
   reduces stress
   improves absorption of essential nutrients
aids with digestion especially issues like heartburn, bloating etc
   weight lose
   increased energy
builds lean muscle, increasing your body's ability to burn fat and stay active
   radiant skin
   reduces and eliminates unhealthy cravings

Isagenix is NOT a diet and it is NOT the latest fad!  It is a lifestyle.

Because it's not a diet there is a lot of flexibility, you eat plenty of 'real' food and it is a support not a substitute for healthy eating and exercise.

The program was not designed to be a diet but the 'side effect' of cleansing and good nutrition is that excess weight and inches are shed.  The products create balance in people's bodies and therefore everyone's results are unique.  The body is the miracle.  When we feed it proper nutrition

If you need to lose weight, weight is released.  If you need to gain weight, you gain lean muscle.  Most people report increased energy, more restful sleep, mental clarity, improvement of digestive issues, decrease in pain and more.  A well nourished and cleansed body is able to function optimally so the miracle becomes not so much the products but your own body.

Regaining control of your health and wellness is especially critical in our world today because of the number of toxins and chemicals we are exposed to on a day to day basis.  Much of our food is over processed and refined and does not provide us with the nutrients we need.  We live in a fast paced world where “the quicker or convenient" the better .  We have come to rely on fast food, canned, or packaged items and many of us are not reading the labels of the foods we are eating.  For instance, some peanut butters are made with icing sugar!  Many of our foods are made with synthetic sugars and added salt  Have you checked your soup labels for MSG?  And we wonder why we are fighting obesity, heart disease and cancer.

Have you ever thought about all the things you are exposed to on a daily basis?
Here is a short 9 min video about toxicity.

DAY 2.

Question and Answers

Other than the Isagenix website where else can I learn about the product?
You are welcome to e-mail me OR there is a great video review on Isagenix.

I am a celiac.  Can I use the product?

The simple answer is yes.  Many of the products are wheat and gluten free.  There are however TWO products that do not meet this standard.  This is why it is critical to work 1-1 with a coach.

I am a diabetic.  Can I use the products?
Again the simple answer is yes however I highly recommend that you work with your doctor to ensure you have met all your needs too.  Did you know the formulator for Isagenix is diabetic?  You can bet he made sure he could use the product too!

I have gut issues.  Will this program work for me?
That is a hard question to answer because results vary from person to person but in many cases it does improve digestive issues.

I am hypoglycemic and eat regularly throughout the day so how can I be sure to meet those needs especially on cleanse days?

I too am hypoglycemic.  I  used the IsaSnacks and the IsaDelights to help stabilize my blood sugar levels in addition to curbing my hunger.  I did surprisingly well on my cleanse days!

Can my children have the shakes too?

Absolutely!  Their portioning is slightly different but they can also enjoy the benefits of the shakes.  In fact there are many products the kids can have from vitamins to fruit sources and much more!  There is a chart available to show you what products can have at what ages.  I would be happy to e-mail it to you.  My kids are 10 and 9.  They have shakes daily that include the Greens and the Isafruits.  I have already seen so many benefits especially for my son who is autistic and a picky eating. His complexion looks better (he doesn’t look as ashen) and his general moods are better too.  Both kids are more full during the day and don’t snack as much and they don’t ask for sweets as much either.

I have  _________ allergy.  Can I use Isagenix products?

The best way to answer that is to either contact me OR check out www.isagenixhealth.net to see how it works for certain conditions, lifestyle choices, kids, etc .

Are the shakes really THAT filling?

Yes. I find they are most filling when you add ice to them.  I like mine either the consistency of a malt or a little less thick while my hubby likes to drink them as if they are "chocolate milk". You can also add small amount of fruit from time to time.   And don’t forget, if you are still hungry you can also have a healthy snack (fruit, veggies, a few nuts, etc.) every 2 hours so food is never too far!

I am a coffee drinker.  I don’t think I can go without my caffeine because I need that to boost my energy especially first thing in the morning.

My husband is a shift worker.  He also NEEDED the boost during his shift.  I too was used to having my jolt first thing in the morning.  All I can say is that I look up to my hubby because he made it through without a stitch of coffee and for the most part didn’t feel that he needed it at all.  We used the product “Want More Energy” which is a tasty drink mix several times in the day to fill the “coffee urge”. Since having completed our cleanse, I have only had one caffeinated beverage and hubby has a coffee 1-2 times a week as opposed to 3-5 a day.  We just don’t need it anymore…our bodies are not caffeine dependent.

Do the product make you feel hyper or jittery?

No.  While I have more energy it’s not in a hyper kind of way it’s more like I don’t need to curl up on the couch on an afternoon and sleep.  I am more alert, I can participate in longer exercise times, I am less tired.

Are the Isagenix shaker bottles PBA free?

Isagenix shaker bottles are PBA free.  You may have people asking that. You can refer them to: www.blenderbottle.com It says right on the home page that it is BPA free and this link takes you to a more detailed page about it:  http://www.blenderbottle.com/pdf/BlenderBottleQuickFacts.pdf

Is Isagenix a pyramid scam?
Did you know that EVERY company is a pyramid?  Do you have a boss?  Then chances are your boss is the top person and he/she has people working below him/her. Besides, pyramid scams were made illegal in the 1970s.
Isagenix is a network marketing company like Discovery Toys, Mary Kay, Close to My Heart, Usborne Books, Usana and more! Network marketing is the wave of the future.  More and more people are creating online stores, selling products online and buying online too.  For many of these companies advertisement is word of mouth and is shared through many facets like social networking, blogs and websites too.

What do you eat on a cleanse day?
The Isagenix program is set up to provide everything you need and to help fill the deficiencies.  So that being said this is what a 30 day program looks like (cleanse day included)

Pre-cleanse days:
Drink LOTS of water.  Always start the day with a glass of water.
2 shakes and 1 meal between 400-600 calories (has to be eaten either at breakfast or at lunch time)

What do I do after the 30 day cleanse?

You meet with me (phone, FB, Skype, e-mail) and we discuss your goals. Each person will have different experiences and goals so together we will create a custom "My Pak" just for you.

Do I have to do a maintenance program?

I had a serious choice to make: I could continue or not.  The fact of the matter is I choose to have a healthy lifestyle for the REST of my life.  Today, I have a customized My Pak and you can too!

DAY 3.

Isagenix seems pricey.

I love this question.  My reply to this...do you eat?  Well then Isagenix is free.  Isagenix does not require any new money.  Instead, Isagenix replaces a portion of your current groceries.  It's that simple. And here's the best part, Isagenix offers ways that you can earn your monthly groceries absolutely free simply by sharing it with friends and family.  In addition, you can also write off a portion of your groceries, house, household bills and more by creating your own business. So if Isagenix doesn't fit your current grocery budget, I'll show you a way it can.

Do you sell Isagenix?

Yes, I do sell  Isagenix product however I do recommend you enrol as an associate rather than purchasing through me so that YOU benefit.  Why you ask?

Because you save BIG TIME.  Remember your 30 day program can either cost you $272 (wholesale) OR $383 (retail).  If you are like me, the deeper the discount the better!! Get your annual membership for a low price of $29 (just like you would for Costco) and you will immediately begin benefitting from the rewards. Free shipping coupons, $$ coupons, discounts, sales and more.

DAY 4.

My Results

I lost a total of 14lbs following the 30 day program and began losing even more by implementing clean eating and exercise in conjunction with my maintenance "My Pak".  With my new found energy, I also found motivation.  I soon began working out regularly and gaining lean body muscle.  I challenged myself to new things like weight training, circuit training and running.  I look and feel better today than I ever have!!!

What made you successful?

First off, my support team, especially my family.  They supported me the whole way with even more encouragement from hubby and mum.  Second, I had a cleanse coach (the one I signed up with--she was so helpful and supportive).  Third, the results.  When I started seeing results it motivated me so much more. A support team certainly helps to increase your success!

Why should I enrol with you vs enrolling directly through the company?

The choice is ultimately yours.  At the end of the day you will be placed with another person regardless so why not hang out with another paper crafter with like minded health goals?
I am here to support you through this journey whether it be losing 10 lbs-200 lbs+, regaining your health and wellness, sports training etc.  I belong to an awesome support team and have attended a number of workshops where I have been learning about the health benefits of the products so that I am well informed and can pass along that knowledge to you.

I support you by:
helping you customize a program to meet your goals
   setting up your first purchase
   sending you support materials
teaching you about your back office (where you place your orders and adjust autoship etc)
   sharing meal ideas
   answering your questions
linking you up to our Isa Group Cleanse group on FB as well as my personal page Health Is a Fit
   sharing the benefits of exercise
teaching you how to replace some of your current meals with comparable clean eating meals
being your cheerleader--because we all need a team on our journey!!
helping you earn your product free
helping you start your own business

How can I enrol with Isagenix?
You can either enrol through the website OR contact me personally.  I recommend that you first contact me so that I can help you decide what products will both support your personal goals but also your health needs.  Your information/e-mail will be kept confidential.

In addition to USA, Canada and Puerto Rico, Isagenix can also support people from New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.  While you can sign up through the website if you are from USA, Canada or Puerto Rico, international countries can only enroll through an associate. You can email me and I will gladly set you up.

When you order you will fill in information and some of it may be confusing.  Ordering as an Associate is better than ordering as a Preferred Customer.  That way, "when" you are approached you can enroll someone up under you and will be compensated.  When you get results like we did, people are going to ask you what you did in order to achieve it.  My mum is a prime example.  She has been going to the pool daily and attending an aqua fit class.  The women in the class were so amazed by her transformation that they asked her what she did.  She explained the program and about how she was feeling and before she knew it 3 ladies from her class became associates too!  Again, when you order as an associate there is NO expectation of selling the product. Don’t forget to sign up for autoship for even more savings.

I am committed to providing you with the information you need to get started on your health and wellness journey.  You are always welcome to ask me more questions and I will be happy to share experiences and answers with you.

In Good Health;
Alli Miles
