Another update on life...

Note: Not entirely paper craft related!  You can visit my most recent posts for the PTI release HERE.

It has been another amazing week! I have thoroughly enjoyed posting cards for the Birthday Bash Sentiments sneak peaks but also have been able to enjoy the perks of summer: warm weather, fresh fruit, swimming and hanging out with my kiddos and husband.

I just wanted to follow up on my previous post called "A Little About Life".Thank you all so very much for your comments, tips and questions.  Your posts were so encouraging.  I really battle with the idea of getting too personal in my blog posts because I don't want to stray too much from my main focus: paper crafting.  But the truth is we are all human.  We all have struggles and successes.  And when I think about some of the great blogs I read out there like Becky Higgins, Nichole Heady, Ali Edward etc...what makes them so much fun is that you get a sense that these are real people with real issues and a real life.  Of course that being said I know that is truthful of all bloggers but sometimes you don't see it.

I often get asked how I do it "all".  How can I be a mum while I teach through an online school, homeschool my son, keep a tidy house, garden, stamp, design stamps, scrapbook, blog etc.  The truth is there is some give and take, some balancing, some hits and misses, some stress...and that is just to name a few things.  I have good days and bad days.  Sometimes I don't get spend as much quality time with my kids as I would hope and other days I do.  It's called LIFE.  For one thing I am one of those people that has a hard time sitting down doing nothing.  And for another thing, I just do what I have to do in order to get the job done.  It can certainly be taxing at times.  But the honest truth is I am just like you too.

So again, back to my previous post, I just want to thank you all again for your comments.  I was especially appreciative of those surrounding sunscreen.  I still have LOTS to learn about sunscreen for sure but you have enlightened me enough to search for some of the best product and sun wear possible.

Also, I still have questions coming in daily regarding Isagenix.  Here are answers to the most common questions:

What were your end results for day 30?  I am thrilled that I lost 11lbs in total along with 22.75 inches.  Hubby lost 16lbs and 17 inches.  My mum lost over 20lbs and 40inches!!  Mum has decided to continue with another cleanse and has lost at least 12 more lbs already.  We all look and feel incredible!  I have several other family members using the program and who are achieving phenomenal results too.  It is so exciting to see this much progress.

Will you post some before and after photos.  Yes I will some time in the near future! I haven't taken any recent photos but will have hubby do so in the next few days :)

Edited to add photos:

BEFORE

AFTER

Other than the Isagenix website where else can I learn about the product?  You are welcome to e-mail me OR there is a great video review on Isagenix.

I am a celiac.  Can I use the product?  The simple answer is yes.  Many of the products are wheat and gluten free.  There are however TWO products that do not meet this standard.

I am a diabetic.  Can I use the products?  Again the simple answer is yes however I highly recommend that you work with your doctor to ensure you have met all your needs too.  Did you know the formulator for Isagenix is diabetic?  You can bet he made sure he could use the product too!

I have IBS.  Will this program work for me?  That is a hard question to answer because results vary from person to person but in many cases it does improve IBS.

I am hypoglycemic and eat regularly  throughout the day so how can I be sure to meet those needs especially on cleanse days?  I too am hypoglycemic.  I  used the IsaSnacks and the IsaDelights to help stabilize my blood sugar levels in addition to curbing my hunger.  I did surprisingly well on my cleanse days!

Can my children have the shakes too?  Absolutely!  Their portioning is slightly different but they can also enjoy the benefits of the shakes.  In fact there are many products the kids can have from vitamins to fruit sources and much more!

I have  _________ allergy.  Can I use Isagenix products?  The best way to answer that is to either contact me OR check out www.isagenixhealth.net to see how it works for certain conditions, lifestyle choices, kids, etc .

Are the shakes really THAT filling? Yes. I find they are most filling when you add ice to them.  I like mine either the consistency of a malt or a little less thick while my hubby likes to drink them as if they are "chocolate milk". You can also add small amount of fruit from time to time.   And don’t forget, if you are still hungry you can also have a healthy snack (fruit, veggies, a few nuts, etc.) every 2 hours so food is never too far!

I am a coffee drinker.  I don’t think I can go without my caffeine because I need that to boost my energy especially first thing in the morning.  My husband is a shift worker.  He also NEEDED the boost during his shift.  I too was used to having my jolt first thing in the morning.  All I can say is that I look up to my hubby because he made it through without a stitch of coffee and for the most part didn’t feel that he needed it at all.  We used the product “Want More Energy” which is a tasty drink mix several times in the day to fill the “coffee nitch”.

Do you sell Isagenix? Yes, I do sell Isagenix product however I do recommend you sign up as an associate rather than purchasing through me so that you benefit.  Why you ask?
1.  You save BIG TIME (remember your 30 day program can either cost you $260 OR $374)  Like most of you I'd take the cheaper route!  All you need to do is sign up for a membership which is $19 right now (just like you would for Costco).
2. You receive the most up to date information about new product and sale items and you can purchase more Isagenix product at any time.  Throughout our cleanse we decided we needed more Want More Energy and were able to order it and receive it within a few days of ordering.
3. If you sign up as an Associate you can choose to earn income and pay for your product.  Of course that decision is yours and there is NO pressure to sell anything.

How can I sign up?

You can either sign up through the website or contact me personally.  I recommend that you first contact me so that I can help you decide what products will both support your personal goals but also your health needs.  You would also receive support throughout your program (I'll cheer you on!) and support if you plan to make this into a business or earn money to pay for your product.

In addition to USA, Canada and Puerto Rico, Isagenix can also support people from New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.  While you can sign up through the website if you are from USA, Canada or Puerto Rico, international countries can only enroll through an associate. You can email me and I will gladly set you up.

When you order you will fill in information and some of it may be confusing.  By ordering as an Associate is better than ordering as a Preferred Customer.  That way, "when" you are approached  you can enroll someone up under you and will be compensated.  When you get results like we did, people are going to ask you what you did in order to achieve it.  My mum is a prime example.  She has been going to the pool daily and attending an aqua fit class.  The women in the class were so amazed by her transformation that they asked her what she did.  She explained the program and about how she was feeling and before you knew it 3 ladies from her class became associates too!  Again, when you order as an associate there is NO expectation of selling the product.
I also recommend signing up for autoship for even more savings.

Well there it is.  I hope I have answered your questions.  Feel free to continue to send me more questions and I will both send the answers to you personally and post them on my blog at a later time.

Hugs,
Alli

P.S. I decided to take a paper crafting break today but will have a new card to share tomorrow!!!

I've been doing Isagenix since March. I love how easy it is. I figure I will probably have to stay on it for life not to gain the weight back. I don't do the cleanse's anymore just the shakes. And instead of snacks every day I have mine with a banana in them. I've lost i think 25 total. I still have like 10 to go but I am happy where I am at. Good luck on your loss...

Thanks so much for posting! I am probably a lifer for the shakes so that I make sure I eat breakfast daily but I am certain that the knowledge I have now learned will help with long term maintenance. The best part for me is the energy!! And the general "feel good".
