May Jiffy Girls

Can you believe it's that time again? Every month the J(ust)F(or)F(un) girls get together for an exciting challenge using the same patterned paper and stamped image.  Kim picked our sweet image called Tweeny Teen Rock On (Pure Innocence Line) by MFT and Lori picked this fresh and saavy patterned paper Petite Red Floral Paper (In Love collection) from the So Sophie line by MME.

I am always inspired for this challenge because the image/sentiment and paper are often not in my collection.  Anything new always gets my creative juice going.

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Create card base and layers (note: the strip at the bottom of the card is actually the strip from the bottom of the patterned paper)
Step 2: Colour image and adhere sentiment on small piece of cardstock.
Step 3: Cut flowers using die cut.  Layer and place a paper threaded button on top.
Step 4: Adhere all layers.

SUPPLIES
Stamp Set(s): sentiment and image from Tweeny Teen Rock On (Pure Innocence Line) by MFT,
Ink: True Black by PTI
Cardstock:Hawaiian Shores by PTI, True Black by PTI, Cream by Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Petite Red Floral  Paper from In Love Collection by MME
Accents: Button by PTI, Felt by PTI
Tools: Beautiful Blooms II #2 dies by PTI, Copic Markers

Make sure to check out the other card variations by my very talented jiffy friends...

On a side note I received an e-mail from one of my visitors who is having trouble linking me into Google Reader.  A message appears saying "it can't be found" (my blog) .  Has anyone else run across this?  I subscribe to new blogs weekly using Google Reader and have never run into that so I am at a loss as to explain it but thought perhaps others have also experienced the same thing?

Have a super day.
