Our New Nest...

I still can't get enough of the Kim Hughes Collection. I am SOO excited that she has another release this month--although to be honest I haven't stamped with those ADORABLE stamps yet. If you were at CHA you would have had a sneak peak of those stamps and let me tell you they are a hoot! *wink*

I began by creating a card 5.5x4.25 and rounding the corners. Next I stamped my backgrounder on the suede brown medium paper and sponged over the entire surface to give a worn look. Next i punched the lower right side with the scallop punch and placed the stamped birdhouse between this surface and the card. I also stamped the scalloped edge (frills by Doodlebug Inc) folded it around the card and adhered it to the back. As a final touch I stamped the bird images, cut them out and coloured them as well as the birdhouse.

Tip: Create depth with two images (the birds) using a pop dot under the closest image.
