Bold Curls Flower

This card began with the Cosmo Cricket paper. I absolutely adore Cosmo Cricket patterned paper and often find that I draw my inspiration from the colours or "feel" of the paper.

Recipe
Stamp Set(s):
-Bold Curls (Kim Hughes Collection) by CHF
-Let's Get Stuffed (Kim Hughes Collection) by CHF

Ink
-Pitch Black by Ranger
-Rust by Ranger

Paper
-White Prismatic by Prism Paper
-Suede Brown Dark by Prism Paper

Patterned Paper
-Wanted: Doc Holiday by Cosmo Cricket

Accessories:
-Silk Ribbon by May Arts
-Hardware by SU!
-Brown 0.03 pen/Brush Tip (faux stitching/thumping)
-Buttons by My Mind's Eye
-Flowers by Prima

Tools:
-stitch template (yes and I still have problems lining it up *smiles*)

Technique:
-Thumping

Card Size: 5.5x 5.5

Designer Note: Thumping: first stamp with rust ink and then tap (thump) your brown pen over the entire surface until you achieve desired look. Yes, it's that easy!

Have a super day!

BTW, it's PTI countdown time and I am anxious to share my next stamp set and tutorial with you however, my stamp set has been hijacked by the postal system. I am praying that it shows up tomorrow. Would you like a hint: forever. Think you know? Check out Taylor's blog for a sneak peak and title too!

Hi, Alli! I'm playing "catch up" with your posts -- it's just one great project after another! The owls are too cute, and I love the purse card! This card is fantastic -- the flowers, colors and patterns are meant to go together! :)

I love the curls as a flower stem! Very mod. And I can't believe you have another stamp set coming out already. You must be one busy girl! Congrats. Very exciting.
