Thinking Tall!

I always admire tall cards but hardly ever make them. My box of PTI goodies arrived today and I was SOOO excited to use those beautiful colours with Shapes by Design. In addition, I had a good look through my rub on collection and decided to get over the hoarding thing. After all, rub ons don't last forever.
Notes: I used the rub ons on the ribbon. I sponged the edges of the circles and the layers of cardstock.

Supplies
paper: Stampers Select White Cardstock by Papertrey Ink, Aqua Mist Cardstock by Papertrey Ink, Spring Moss Cardstock by Papertrey Ink
ink: Black Palette, Perfect Match Aqua Mist, Perfect Match Spring Moss by PTI
stamps: Shapes by Design (Urban Design by Alli Miles) Papertrey Ink
accessories: Aqua Mist Grosgrain Ribbon by Papertrey Ink, RubOns by SU!, Pop Dots,

Hope you have a terrific Thursday.
Alli

P.S. Does anyone know how to make photos larger in blogger? I noticed some people have larger images but I can't seem to make the top photo bigger. Edited to add: Thanks for your help. I couldn't get that to work last night...maybe it just took a computer restart.

Hi A, hope I'm not being too obvious! but when you click on the icon to input a photo in, to the right of that is a click option for a small medium or large photo - you choose the size you want! Or maybe it's bigger again you want, when you have imported your photo, click on it and you can resize it manually! Hope this helps! bx

Hi Alli. Wonderful card! Great colours. It is true, rub ons do not last forever. I learned this the hard way. I kept hoarding them and when I actually went to use them...they had 'dried' up. I wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me the lovely comment. I ordered your set, so I am hoping I will get it today or tomorrow. Have a great day.

This card is beautiful love the size and color combo and all those "buttons" In blogger there are three sizes to choose from when you import, but I notice that even though I pick large all the time that like my Bella card the other day imported as a small photo, not sure why, but I pick "large" when I import

Hi Alli! Lovely card! I just love tall cards, too but rarely make them. Just too much thinking for my brain to figure out the dimensions to fit in the long envelopes! LOL! You can usually make your pics bigger when you're in compose mode by clicking and dragging the corner of the picture to make it the size you would like it to be.

Ok now this is just too cute! I have the same hoarding issue with, well, just about everything. Unless I have TONS to spare I just don't use it. It's a disease I tell ya! LOL xoxo

Beautiful card Alli! I love how you used the circles!! I am so excited because I've been trying to patiently wait for my PTI order -- but if you recieved yours in BC perhaps mine is on it's way to Alberta!! Yeah!!

Thanks for all the inspiration. Congratulations on the launch of your own set!!
