If you have heard me loud and CLEAR lately you know that I am SOOO into clear *lol*. I purchased a ton of acetate sheets (overhead sheets in teacher terms) last fall and although I am using them slowly I have decided to push myself over the next few months to try and incorporate into more of my cards.
One of the things that lends itself perfectly to acetate sheets is a background stamp and what better stamp than CHF's grid backgrounder. And even more fun is there is NO set rules for lining it up...
recipe
paper: Suede Brown Dark (Prism), Morocco--Poppy Seed (Cherry Arte)
ink: Jet Black StazOn, White StazOn
stamp set(s): Silhouette Blooms I (Kim Hughes--CHF), Grid Backgrounder (CHF)
accessories: Buttons (MME), Paper Piercer, Acetate Sheet, Corner Rounder (EK Success)
I have an exciting tutorial coming up some time this week. I am still playing around with the possibilities but can hardly wait to show you something SOOO easy you'll wonder why you didn't try it before.
Have a terrific day.
Because I love to stamp and you do too!

Cute Alli...I'm gonna have to get me some of those Aceate sheets...
I love this card Alli! It's awesome and I love the way you used the acetate. I haven't really been tempted by the clear cards - but this I really like! Can't wait for your tutorial!
Great card. I've got some aceate sheets that have been collecting dust ... time to ink 'em up and play. thanks for the inspiration! *now if I can get the little ones to allow me some free time* Hee Hee
Great card!! Where did you get your acetate sheets? Are they strong enough to make a card base out of? I can't find the good ones anywhere (I'm in Canada)!
Love your card! i also have a box of theses sheets sitting unused - which kind of adhessive do you use
with the acetate?
GET OUT!! This is fabulous! I'm glad your power is staying on long enough for you to pump these beautiful cards out! ;)
