I am going to make this fast and furious *lol* We have been hit by several wind storms a few times this week and the power is a little unpredictable. I am actually surprised we have it now. The trees are once again sideways and with the roar of the ocean closeby it sounds like a train is coming through the house. My favourite part about living 5 minutes from the beach is the sandblast effect on the windows and the sea moss stuck on the side of the house *lol*.
Last fall, I put together a scrappy card for the fun of it! I had those cute Martha Stewart numbers and month stickers in addition to those Making Memories rub ons (I finally used them after having had them in my collection for the past 3 years!).
Recipe
Paper: Basic Black (SU!), Background Worn Lined Paper (Scenie Route), Narrative Collection Cream Victorian (Creative Imaginations)
Accessories: Tabs: Month and Day (Martha Stewart), Rub-On Words: Wedding--Simply Stated (Making Memories), Pink Ribbon (Misc)
This is such a SIMPLE card to make. It is a departure from my normal stamped cards but was fun nonetheless--besides who doesn't LOVE rub-ons??? Since I started out as a scrapbooker, I have a LOT of embellishments that are screaming to be used. It was nice to go through my collection and find things I could use on my card. I am actually hoping to get back to my scrapbooking roots this year. I have been taking LOTS of photos of my kids the past few months and can hardly wait to start creating something fun using my new clear album!!!
Have a terrific day.
I have some more CHF cards to share in the next few days using some newly acquired DP!
Because I love to stamp and you do too!
