TLC111 Reverse Blossom Card

I promised I would share a card with you today...not the original card I was going to show but since I have already posted this on SCS I wanted to share it with you here too!
The TLC 111 challenge was reverse masking. I have played with this before but have never made a card using this technique before. It looks a lot harder than it really is...1) I stamped and cut out the flower (SU!'s Big Blossom), used the outer part (so not the flower but the paper around the flower) as a template. 2) Next I stamped various flower images using different colours in the centre of the flower. 3) Once done, I alligned my flower using the stamp-a-ma-jig and stamped the flower over top of my newly stamped image and poured embossing powder over it and heated it. 4) I cut out the flower level 1/4 inch around the embossed image. 5) And finally placed my image and embellishments on the card base. You can see I stamped French Script on one side just to give it a little more appeal.

Reverse Blossom Card Recipe:
Paper: Always Artichoke, Whisper White Craft, Certainly Celery
Ink: Always Artichoke, Whisper White Craft, Certainly Celery, VersaMark
Stamp Set(s): Big Blossom, French Script, So Very, Best Blossoms
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Moss Grosgrain Ribbon, Spotted Spool Ribbon, Large and Small Oval Punch, 1/16th Circle Punch, Jump Ring, Ticket Corner Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig

Hope you are having a wonderful day...

Because I love to stamp and you do too!
Alli

Wow Alli - this card is gorgeous. The colours, the layout and the technique. I haven't been watching the SCS challenges...now I think I'll head online tonight and try to catch up. This is one I've got to do.
