G stands for GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Alicia! You are the winner of my blog candy giveaway. You can thank my dear husband for pulling your name out the hat. You can contact me via e-mail and we can exchange information so that I can get your goodies to you in the mail.
Thank you everyone who shared a response to my questions. I made it to 2000!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all!!!!! I appreciate your kind words and input. I look forward to making a few changes in the weeks to come. I plan to have a Bella card giveaway in the near future too (5000 mark???)...just waiting for her to arrive in the mail first. So please stay tuned!

Okay so G doesn't have to stand just for Giveaway...haha like that is a coincidence. When I got creative tonight I was thinking girlfriends, grandma, great, grand....G!!!!! I had so much fun playing with my new designer paper, chipboard, my primas and of course ribbon. Oh do I love ribbon. Can you tell? (*wink*) And of course, this project wouldn't be complete without some Cutty action. I actually used the Provo Craft d'vine swirl embossing folder on designer paper then sanded the top of it and sponged it with creamy caramel ink. I love the distressed "old feeling" it radiates. The new spring mini paper arrived this morning and was screaming to be used so I could hardly contain myself. In fact, SU!'s Petals and Paisleys double sided designer paper has retro written all over it. It is no wonder I just magically found the sanding block and sponge in my right hand to give it a scrub down. I prepped the surface of my tin by painting it using Making Memories scrapbook colour: Shopping Bag followed by double sided sticky tape and then paper. To reiforce that old look, I sponge the entire tin, included the painted area using Creamy Caramel. As a final addition, I had to include Prima's Kiss Me Pink flower. I can hardly wait to fill it with goodies for someone special.

G Tin Recipe:

Ink: Creamy Caramel
Paper: Petals and Paisleys Designer Paper (Spring Mini)
Accessories: Making Memories Shopping Bag paint, Tin, On Board Simon Lower Chipboard, Sanding Block, Sponge, Double Sided Sticky Tape, Cuttlebug, D'vine Embossing Folder, Prima Kiss Me Pink Flower and Button, Grosgrain Ribbon: Moss, Cream, Turquoise, Mustard

Because I love to stamp and you do too!
Alli

P.S. A few people asked where I got Cutty...I got the BUG from M's in Nanaimo!!!! Don't forget your 40% off coupon!
