Introducing Take Three: Fall

I absolutely love coordinating or matchy match items.  When I came up with the Take Three series concepts I was taken by the idea that you could have a set for all seasons that not only had the same font but also the same design (the rounded square).  Of course I had to coordinate the square with a punch too just to simplify things.

I just love the simplicity of Take Three: Spring and Take Three: Summer  but also the ability to mix and match many of the sentiments.  You are going to find the same versatility with Take Three: Fall.

While fall is still a few months away it is never too early to start your fall project plans.  From decorative napkin holders, to decorative centerpieces, to cards, to tags, these images can be used for all your projects!

CARD #1

What I really like about the pumpkin is that it can be either a Halloween image, a fall image or even a Thanksgiving image.  You will notice that the pumpkins in the collection are very fun!!

CARD#2

Traditionally you think of wheat in a "summer sunrise" kind of colour.  I created a card with a vibrant twist.  Using a multi colour ink pad I was able to add three shades of pink to the wheat image.  I used black as a contrast to pink and also added some texture to the background using an impression plate.  I rounded the corners on the card to soften the card as well as to coordinate with the rounded squares.

  1. Create card base, and layer. Use impression plate to create texture.
  2. Stamp image three times using a multi colour ink pad.  Stamp sentiment.
  3. Adhere all layers.

These are both so striking! Love the layouts and textures. You know that the prairie girl in me will have to get this set, just for the wheat.
Thanks for sharing.
