Remember me??--Blog Candy Giveaway

Well, I am getting there but have to say I still have lots of work ahead of me. I have had some people asking why I am writing report cards now. I work for an online school and reporting is a little different than the public school system. Essentially, I receive a portfolio of the student's work at the end of the term and that combined with their weekly reports and our phone calls comes together as a report card. I am very thorough in my details *lol* and like to make recommendations which turn into lengthy e-mails. That is why it takes me so long. Today for instance I spent 14 hours completing 2.5 report cards. Eeep.

So I am sure you thought I had forgotten about blogging and my blog candy giveaway. Well after long days on the computer typing I truly have not had the energy to do much more. I have pulled it together tonight to share a little SPRING with you in the form of blog candy.

In order to win these goodies, leave me a note and tell me what you love most about Spring.

Here are the goodies: Prima flowers, stitched ribbon, Spring Moss ink by PTI, some yummy spring patterned papers, some die cuts, a stencil and this cute baby chick.

Have a super day. I have a card to share this weekend so I will post it on Sunday along with the winner of this blog candy and then I promise to be back to my regular scheduled posts. I had hoped to be further along but I had a complex report card that took a little longer than I had hoped.

I love spring because it's warm enough to break out my more warm-weather wardrobe which tends to be a lot more colorful than the cold-weather clothes. Thanks for the giveaway!

What I love most is seeing the tulips and hyacinths blooming after a long winter.

Spring maks me think of new beginnings. I love to see all the trees & flowers blooming & know that Easter is right around the corner. Easter is a new beginning to me because of the death, burial & resurrection of my Lord, Jesus! Thanks for the chance to win!!

Yummy Blog goodness....thanks for a change to win and good luck on the rest of the report cards!

Warm weather. It's been here, and it will be back, but there is snow on my pretty little yellow flowers in the backyard. (I totally sympathize with the report cards. I just retired after 37 years of IEPs and report cards. There was never an elementary school reporting system that did not take a lot of time and effort. There are a few things I miss, report cards are not one of them.)

I love to garden. I'm especially excited about this spring since my hubby and I just bought our first house! This year I'll have my very own garden for the first time! :)

I love the change in the energy and the change in the smells of nature. It is such a renewing time! Here in MN it always seems to arrive at the exact moment when we think we cannot take winter for even one moment longer!

Katherine said...

I love the freshness of Spring. Last night while taking the dog out before bed I had the family come outside to enjoy the fresh flower fragrance laden breeze. It was so wonderful - I just wish the windows in my house opened! I would have had all of them open so that lovely night-blooming jasmine and alyssium and agapantha fragrance could fill the house. It won't be long (a week or two) before the temperature will be in the 90's (F) here so all of that will be gone. I am enjoying it for the few days it is here.

Happy First Day of Spring!

My word, this is a great giveaway. I love it all. Growing up in Southern California, I never thought much of spring. Then I moved to Alaska with my husband. In Alaska everyone mostly hybernates in the winter so when spring comes the flowers bloom, the grass turns green, the sun shines, and the people come out and play. I love the friendships you gain just walking out your front door on a warm spring day. I miss being in Alaska.
