Congrats, a card and I'm back!

I have a few more reports to go yet but I did find some time yesterday to put together a few things including my upcoming Jiffy girls monthly card.

I was so delighted to read all of your wonderful spring comments. I am longing for more spring like days--especially those that are warm. The kids and I managed to get out for a few walks and a bike ride in the past few days but we had to plan them around the breaks from the pouring rain/hail/slush. Anyways, you truly brightened my day with thoughts of "newness". I love green buds, flowers and green grass. I adore the smell of freshly cut grass. And of course who doesn't like the sun and the warmth?

Spring comes late here in NS but I get all happy when I see the daffodils in the store. All closed up tight just waiting to open up in a warm house.

Congrats Beth! Please send me your snail mail.

On to today's card. This is a card I put together some time ago and then lost. I found it the other day as I was cleaning out my supplies, boxes and cards. I am not sure about your circle of friends but it seems that many of my friends are expecting again...some expecting their 3 and 4th child even. So the reality is I really need to get cracking on making more baby cards again!

To achieve the embossed square look please refer to THIS tutorial.

Hi Alli - I love this cute little card. Seems simple enough to reproduce, too! I am always making cards for my non-stamping friends and baby cards seem to top the list. And like you - I am finding more and more of my friends expecting their 3rd or 4th baby.
Have a great day!

What a sweet card! Thanks for linking the tutorial on the embossed square. It's something I've wanted to try for awhile.
