Lucky.

I feel so blessed by all the wonderful things that have come from my papercrafting career: the chance to do what I love. A few years ago, if you told me I would have accomplished what I have accomplished to date I would have laughed... And yet, I am exactly where I am because I took a risk. Because I believed in me.

Today is a big day. Why you ask? Today I am officially a CHF Alumni. I have stepped down from CHF to pursue new pastures. It is bittersweet. I {heart} the girls at CHF and will miss them terribly including Liz and Richard (owners) of CHF. CHF was the first company to put my name out there with the Fresh Faces team. It was an incredible adventure and I learned so much from everyone on the team. I want to take this opportunity to thank them ALL from the bottom of my heart. Oh, and while I have the chance...sending lots of Happy Birthday hugs to miss Mona Lisa (Lisa Strahl).

Some of you know that I have a son who many would term special needs. Since I have lots of travel and many meetings in the near future I felt I needed the opportunity to break away from my design work for a while.

So what does this mean for me? for you? Well I am still here. I will still be blogging and I will still be creating. I will still pursue design work. But for the time being, I am going to commit more time to my little boy.

Today's card is called Lucky because I do feel lucky--and I am grateful for EVERYTHING that has happened in my life. The ups, the downs...even the things I wanted to run away from *lol*

the inside of the card--I created a little pocket for $ or for a gift certificate.

Hi Alli,
Thank YOU for all you have done to help promote CHF. We wish you all the best as you pursue new avenues & specifically in the area of your little guy. He is blessed to have such dedicated parents. We pray that you will be able to be for him exactly what he needs when he needs it.
Hugs, Liz

I am so happy for you and your success, but I'm most proud of your decision to devote the time you need to your son and your family. You are indeed one helluva--gal!

Big hugs and warm wishes,

BTW--{heart} the card! May we all take a moment to dwell on how gosh-darn "lucky" we all are!

I'm right there with you Alli!
I've given up my SU! demo status, and card classes. My son needs me more.
I really applaud you for making your little guy a priority, and I know that he will be so blessed because of it. The sacrifices that you make now will be such a benefit to him, both now and later. You are such an amazing mom Alli!
Good luck with everything!
