What a beautiful stamp set! You've done such wonderful work with the stamps from PTI! This would be so great to have as it's been eons since I've been able to order anything new from Nicole! Hmmm... don't have a favorite onine store, as I manage a brick-and-mortar store, so I buy from myself! Favorite site for ideas... of course, Splitcoaststampers. And what I'm doing this summer... same thing I do all year; be a wife and mom, work, and stamp! LOL (why I feel compelled to answer all 3 questions is beyond me!) :) Thanks Alli!

Hi Alli!
This summer I plan on spending as much time with my girls museum-hopping and swimming in the lake as possible. My little one graduates from pre-K today and will start her full-time school "career" in August. I am sad for me and so happy for her... and plan on making this a summer for all of us to remember.
Thank you for your site. I am so inspired whenever I visit!
Thanks for the chance!

A bunch of people here in Kansas thisnk we're crazy going somewhere cold in the summer, but why would I go to Alaska in the winter??? Then we're going to do a little road trip each day on my husband's day off somewhere closer to home. My missin is to get LOTS of inspiring photos to scrap! Thanks for all of the beautiful scrapbook pages lately. I am partial to scrapbook pages and yours are lovely!

I have to admit, I don't do much online shopping when it comes to embellishments and paper--I like to shop local for that. It's the stamps I buy online, because I see people like you and their amazing work!

I'm a teacher, so on my summer off, I'll be a nanny for two amazing little guys!

Debbie Griffin said...

This summer I plan on improving my stamping skills and stash of stamps! The kids will play outside most of the day and I will be able to stamp away! Since I'm relatively new at this, I'm really looking forward to getting some of the great techniques I've seen lately perfected!

Alli, this set is fabulous and I simply love the flowers!! I also enjoy peeking in to see what you're up to each day. My summer this year is going to be very low key. Everyone will be home and we're just going to enjoy being together as a family - as my two oldest children are about ready to fly the coop. One has graduated college and the other is graduating high school and getting ready for college.

Thanks,

In July, a group of about 12 friends that I met on Splitcoaststampers are getting together for a stamping/scrapbooking retreat in Colorado! We're renting a house in the mountains for a fabulous long weekend!

And, I'm condo shopping, so hopefully I will be moving into my first home this summer as well!

Thanks for the opportunity to win this gorgeous set!

Hi Alli!
Long to me no chat! I hope all is well up north. I'm mostly an SU gal, though I do own papertrey stamps (including yours!!) and bellas. I like getting my paper (other than SU) on sale anywhere I can online lol. Sometimes at a local joanns or hobby lobby store. Allthatscraps.com is a good place to find paper on sale.

What am I doing this summer? Going to SU convention!! Other than that, not much. Gas prices are too high. I watch dogs while their owners go on vacation and I will have dogs from the 2nd week of June thru the end of July.

That pretty much takes up the summer for me! Hope you have a nice one!

Hi Alli...thanks for all the inspiration--and of course, for the chance to win blog candy! I think my favorite online store, even though I guess it's not an online store, is Ebay! I can always find what I want from somebody on there, which doesn't always happen in online stores because they're out of stock, or whatever...so, there ya go! I'm going to shop now! Hope I win the blog candy!

Cat said...

Alli - your blog candies are always so generous! i absolutely love PaperTrey, but haven't bought this set... yet. :) and, i absolutely ADORE everything you've done with CHF!

i don't have any one site for embellishments. i usually pick up one or two items when placing orders for other items. but my favorite scrapbooking site these days is pagemaps.com. i've always enjoyed using Becky Higgin's page layouts to come up with my own personalized design, adn PageMaps allow me to do the same thing. the samples also help me see other ways to use the same layout for a totally different look.

I love allthatscraps.com The prices are great, and the cost of shipping here to Canada is awesome!
As for this summer we will be heading down to Seattle, doing some camping, and then coming back to Canada taking the ferry back to Vancouver island, hopefully getting a chance to visit Ucluelet, and Tofino. Then on to the lower Mainland to visit family, and attending my cousins wedding before heading home. So it should be interesting!

Summer Plans: My husband and I are celebrating our tenth anniversary in New York in June. This has been in the works for a number of years and we are sooo looking forward to it. By the way, one of the reasons we have stayed married is that I am a very "careful" and frugal shopper when it comes to stamping and scrapbooking. (wink) So I don't have any favourite online stores to get my supplies. It is card to "hide" the MasterCard bill. LOL. Seriously though, we are happily married and he supports my hobby.

OMGosh!!! You don't even know how much I would love to have this set. I first thought "I don't REALLY need another flower set" what a silly thing to think. I just haven't had the chance to purchase it yet.
I don't really do much online shopping for anything but my PTI stash. Maybe some copic markers and some embellishments from "All that scraps" (www.allthatscraps.com) or I have bought from "queen & Co." (www.queenandco.com/index.asp) other than that I do a LOT of shopping at Michaels and Joanns. Sorry I can't be of more help. I hope you find what you are looking for.

We're sure to get some great photos of the kids picking and eating some too! Then we'll make preserves that will bring joy over the long winter months here in Michigan. Yup looks like it will be a nice summer.

I don't know why it is that those kind of stamps intimidate me. Something about the layering of the images... I need to bite the bullet and try them.

This summer, 4th of july week, I am fortunate enough to be able to rent a van that seats 12 and take my children and their significant others and children to Maine to see family that they haven't seen in years and years. 800 miles one way.... I am so looking foward to this. Have been trying for years to get this accomplished.

I'm another one of the sports moms who is going to softball tournaments and baseball tournaments and getting the older son to the airport for basketball tournaments. It's a wild one. Wouldn't that be nice...but where would I hide all of my stamping stuff to take with me???

Although there are a plethora of websites for shopping, I have to share my summer plans. After dropping my kids off at my parents, my husband and I are heading to Brazil to visit his parents who have been there as missionaries for the past two years. I served a mission there a few years back and can't wait to eat some yummy Brazilian food! There is more going on this summer, but that will definitely be the highlight!

Does your blog count for great inspiration? If not, I love Splitcoast & PTI/Nicole's blog. For embellishments I love http://www.eclecticpaperie.com/.
And as for the summer it will be in the backyard with my 2 yo who loves to be outside! Hopin' to have great weather!

What a beautiful set! My favourite online store for embellishments is probably Stamping Bella (http://www.stampingbella.com/)because I love the Bella Baubles and other little doodads she has. I never buy designer paper on line because I really have to see it before I purchase it and the web never does it justice.

Great prices!!

These shouldn't be tricky questions, but they are.

1)Most of my paper is from SU, but I have bought paper and embellishments from All That Scraps.

2)I don't scrapbook. I would like to, but it intimidates me. My favourite online scrapbooking resources are Cyndi Bundy (http://scrappychick.typepad.com/scrappy_chick/) and Erika Martin (http://stampinmama.typepad.com/). Maybe with enough viewing of their work, sketches and tutorials I will get enough confidence to try it myself.

3)I am not working right now (actually trying to open a retail business) so we don't have much disposable income, so I don't know where we may be going this summer. One thing for sure, we are going camping with my extended family and friends over the August long weekend to Lake Diefenbaker.

This summer I'll be driving to Austin to visit our best friends who moved there last Fall. We haven't seen them since and we miss them terribly! I can't wait, and I hope they realize that I'll be staying for WEEKS! This also means I'll be checking out some Austin stamping stores, woo hoo!

Unknown said...

It's going to be a non-traveling summer I'm afraid with the gas prices the way they are. Maybe a few weekend get-aways, but I think I am going to be a homebody this time around. Good time to be crafty, don't you think?

I don't really order much online but what I'm doing this summer is having hernia surgery. 6 years ago I had colon cancer and had surgery so the wall in my abdomen is weak, thus the hernia. I watch my grandson through the school year since my daughter is a teacher, so I'll have a summer break recovering from the surgery. You know what that means!?
