Do you ever find some months are CRAZY for birthdays??? We have two months like that in our family--September and April. Since I am in the "in between" time it is nice to stockpile cards for those months. I have a few birthdays this month too and considering this is more of a "summer" card it may do just the trick. Don't you just LOVE clear cards??? These clear sheets are THE BEST sheets I have ever used to make cards.
Here are a few close ups so you can really "see" how the card was made. There is a flowery piece and polka dot piece. A strip of polka dots was placed on both folds on the inside of the card. The flowery piece was also placed on the inside of the card (I glued them down with dots of glossy accents...you can see it if you look close enough) I also punched a hole through the entire front layer to hold the flower and the polka dot paper. I stamped the sentiment on the outside using StazOn ink.

I didn't get a chance to participate in the CHF Chicks Challenge this week but encourage you to check out what the girls are up to...they are creating some WONDERFUL pieces with lots of sneak peaks for upcoming releases. (check out the sidebar on your right for links to their blogs) And Lisa Strahl has a BIG announcement today too...you don't want to miss it!
Have a good one!
