Time Well Spent

I have a few minutes to upload my card. I am really liking the new level 3 hostess set called Time Well Spent. The images are playful yet they can be quite elegant too. Although I added a little contraband bling, this card could be easily replicated using crystal effects in the place of my gemstones and a white strip of paper in the place of the doodlebug frills. And of course, now that I am a copic girl, you can easily replace my copic colours with stampin' write marker colours.
I cut out the main flower and used dimensionals to make it lift of the page. I also cut the smaller flower and place it in the centre of the larger flower.
Sorry my photo is crooked. I had all but about 30 seconds to get my image and upload it in the craziness of the day.

recipe

paper: cranberry crisp, river rock, whisper white
ink: basic black (SU), whisper white (SU!), river rock (SU!)
stamp set(s): time well spent (Level 3 Hostess set 2008--not yet available/SU!)
accessories: white gel pen, frills (Doodlebug), gemstones (Hero Arts), Copic Ciao Markers, dimensionals (SU!)

Have a terrific week.

Because I love to stamp and you do too!
Alli

P.S. Thank you SOOO much for all your help via links, resources and words of wisdom from yesterday afternoon's post. I really feel blessed by having all of you in my life to help me through the ups and downs. I will love my boy today like I loved him from the day he was born. He is my true gift from God.

I just read your post from yesterday. SPD symptoms sound so much like Aspbergers Syndrome, which my daughter has been diagnosed with. She is now 17 but when she was in grade school we couldn't understand why she behaved the way she did. Socially she is still lagging but we have seen enormous growth in that area. She has to learn how to behave where most people just pick it up naturally. She has the same issues with texture of food, lights and noise. I can say that we take 2 steps forward and one step backwards. I don't have any advice - I just wanted you to know you are not alone and probably share the same feelings. If you need someone to listen I'm here. You can email me at hskelly@pacbell.net or PM me on SCS hskelly

For a Quick photo is surecame out good. Love the card. I had planned to stamp today, but Emma woke up with the stomach flu, so I'm thinking it won't happen.

Glad your feeling more encouraged!!!
