PTI Fun and a card

I experienced the most exciting night tonight! Nichole sure knows how to put on a fun filled evening. As most of you know, today is PTI release of 4 new stamp sets. If you follow Nichole's blog, then you will know she announced (at the last minute too!) that she was holding a contest along with her release party. The contest held was Papertrey Apprentice. We all met in the SCS PTI Forum and Nichole asked 5 questions throughout the first hour and a half and whoever answered them correctly and first was awarded a predetermined number of points. All you had to do was BLINK and you were behind. I completely missed the ball on the first question. I was so nervous when the next 15 minutes passed and I was bracing myself...well miss perfect speller went back to fix a mistake and BLINK I was down the line again! By the end of it, I made it on the score board with 2 points. I just couldn't answer fast enough and I made one mistake (she likes REESES PIECES *slaps her head* OF COURSE!). The highlights of the night included: 1) Nichole giving sneak peaks for the new Dec releases 2) CAMMIE (need I say more Carolyn King??? *lol*) and 3) Ordering new rubbah!

If you have never played with Nichole's beautiful stamps I encourage you to go over the edge. They are GORGEOUS. I love all of my sets and NO I don't own the all yet *lol*...I think I am missing 4, shhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone.

I had a PTI card to show you today but I am so disapointed in the lighting that I will share it tomorrow instead.

Today I will be sharing another one of my Paper Pretties cards from the Oct subscription box. Those people who are subscribers get sneak peaks of these cards ahead of time.

I just wanted to send a congrats out to my DT friend Jillian Winters who was named PTI Guest Star Stamper for her gorgeous card using the set snowflake serenade. WOHOO!!!

I put together two more designer paper scrap packs to send out--if you are new/just starting this is your chance to have some fun with designer paper without spending a fortune *lol*. The first two people to reply here including a post with their e-mail will get a goody package. I just have WAY TOO MUCH DP!

Because I love to stamp and you do too!

Wasn't it fun at SCS this evening! It was even entertaining for those of us with computers too slow to have a chance. I, too, missed the Reece's Pieces! Your card is too cute. I'm sure your scrap stash is to die for, but I, also, have more than I will EVER use. Just simply wanted to say Hi and agree with all you said about PTI!

I'm just getting into the DP, so any scraps would be great. I enjoy getting your new post each day. It gives me great ideas.
