Those are some BLUE Frosted Flowers...

This has to be a quick post!!!! Isn't that what I always say?
Today's card is for the TLC on SCS. It's always fun to try a new technique and to be honest I have never tried this wet watercolouring technique. One thing I did notice is that to get the most effective "look" you have to spray and then stamp immediately. You will get the most bleeding that way. In my case, by the time I stamped the third one the paper was already drying. Ah, it's a live and learn thing. I am happy with how it turned out.

Frosted Flowers Card Recipe

Paper: Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Basic Black, Poolhouse Paisley DP (Chatterbox)
Ink: Basic Black, Blue Frost Spectrum Pad
Stamp Set(s): Petal Prints
Accessories: Always Ribbon (Heidi Swapp), Spritzer, Water Spray

Remember, blog candy is just around the corner. I am closing in on 50000 thanks to all of you!
Well I know it is a long weekend in the US so I hope you are enjoying your time off and getting to that stamping *wink*

Because I love to stamp and you do too!

I love how these flowers look like Texas Bluebonnets!

To solve the problem of your paper drying out, try misting your stamp after inking it, instead of your paper.
