A day in the life of the Miles family...

It's been a busy day in the Miles household. I had the task of finishing my 70 clippies for my friend (deadline next week) and I was SOOOO happy to ship them off this morning! Next, I painted our front entrance and part of our hall in anticipation of our friends who are visiting this weekend. Why on EARTH I feel the need to paint before people arrive I will never know?! And then all the normal stuff, playing with the kids, laundry, food, trips to the store, cleaning the house...Of course that cut into my stamping time! Anyhow, I have a few things to show you...

My Finished Clippies (they look soooo sharp in person)

And my FAV project of the day, the LSC111 Challenge. The task was to make cards for Grammy (from our kids, but made by you) without flowers. Since I know "our" grammy reads my blog every day, I decided to make a card for GG (great grandma) instead. But grammy has nothing to fear as she will be also receiving a special card *wink*.

LSC111 GG's Frog Card

Paper: Kraft, Cool Carribean, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black
Stamp Set(s): Unfrogettable
Accessories: Vintage Brads, 1/16th-inch Circle Punch, Cuttlebug (Provo Craft), Tiny Mosaic Embossing Folder (Provo Craft), Olivia Alphabet (Provo Craft), Chipboard, Teal Dashes, Dots and Checks Ribbon, Spotted Green Spool Ribbon, Black and Green White Spotted Ribbon (misc), Slot Punch, Watercolour Crayons/Pencils, Aquapainter, Gamsol, Stickles

I stamped two frogs, one for my son and one for my daughter. They are waving to GG (great grandma) in their frog suits...can't you tell? I also stickled the Gg! Unfortunately the camera didn't pick it up but it is very blingy!

I must tell you cutting into my chipboard coasters with my Cuttlebug and die cuts is AWESOME. I know many of you already know about that but I plan to share a tutorial for it very soon for those who haven't played with chipboard yet! It is quite addicting!!!

Because I love to stamp and you do too!

Another "Frog Lover" here so this card just "leaped" right off the page for me (hee, hee). Love it and I'm sure GGrandma will too. Ida

What an awesome froggie card! Love the layout and the texture. Great job on finishing up those clippies. Mass production is always a chore!

Great clippies. I'm looking forward to that tutorial using chipboard. I haven't tried any yet but am very anxious to.

Wow that is a lot of clippies!! After doing that many did you find your die cuts didn't work as well? I had trouble after making about 25...lol

Great stuff!
