Introducing Take Three: Spring!

I am so excited to share my newest release from the Urban Design collection called Take Three: Spring.  As a card maker/stamper, I find that there are things that are missing from the industry and naturally that stirs the creative side in me!  For instance, do you ever want the reflection of a stamp?  Do you ever wish you could move the image within a solid stamp? While there are ways to make that happen but it takes work.  As a result I created a stamp set with 3 different look to the same image--hence Take Three.  As you may have noted, this is Take Three: Spring.  Could it be a sign of things to come?  You'll definitely want to check back this summer for a new take on summer stamping ;)

Details: $15 set, 2 sets of images of 3 takes and sentiments to match for a total of 12 stamps!

Today's peak is focusing on one of the two series of images with this set--the infamous bunny with the stitched border.  The first thing to note is that the rounded square image fits PERFECTLY in the 1 1/4 inch EK success punch however if you want to add a border around the image try your 1 3/8 inch EK Success punch (see below).  I absolutely LOVE to coordinate images with punches or various tools--I'm all about time management.

CARD #1
KISS--keep it simply simple

I used a lot of "white space" to direct the eye to the focal image. I wanted to create the feeling that it was an award winning bunny.  I just love the simplicity of ribbon accents and what better way to tie the image to the card using a button too!

CARD # 2
If you don't keep it simple go crazy!

I honestly think there is a place for all kinds of cards.  For the most part you'll see that I like to keep things simple but it doesn't mean there isn't a place for getting fancy especially when you pair it with PTI's fabulous line of background stamps.
I began by stamping my backgrounds on the spring moss, sweet blush and kraft cardstockI also stamped the bunny image over top of the polka dot basics and then punched them out using the 1 1/4 inch punch.  I placed all my bunny images on a die cut scalloped square and added a button with a touch of ribbon.  As a final step I stamped my sentiment and rounded the corners in addition to the bottom right hand corner of the card.

It's hard to pick because I love that little bunny! I guess if I had to, I'd pick the first for the beauty in its simplicity.

Alli -
I love what I am seeing so far ... I was really hoping for a fun new Easter set ... looks like this is going to be perfect! Are there two bunny images? I love that ... left facing and right facing.
My favorite? I cannot pick because I love both of them for different reasons. :)

Have a great day,
Kimberly

My favorite is the first card, Alli. I love the color combination and the design. The bunny against the polka dot background just makes me feel like I'm tripping on something. Love the concept though.

Such cute images, they remind me of when I was a wee child and the sugared eggs had a scene inside with a bunny, I LOVE your set!!
I also LOVE the simplicity of your cards and that they don't look incomplete. TFS
