A no post giveway!

I had good ambitions to post a new card today but to be honest these report cards have me heading to bed real early. The card is made but the photo needs to be taken and photoshoped!

So as a thank you for dropping by today, I would like to giveaway Wise Owl Bellies. And in the spirit of the American Thanksgiving, all you need to do to enter is leave me a comment about something you are thankful for. My list is miles (get it?) long...but I am most thankful for family.

I will draw a name via random generator and post the winner tomorrow!!! So yes--this is a short turn around.

Hugs to you all and to my American friends Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you enjoy some turkey and pumpkin pie for me--mmmmm.

ETA: This giveaway has been closed--thank you for participating. The lucky recipient has been announced.

I am thankful for so many things. My family, my health, my job, my pets... and so many more "big things" but I am also thankful for some "not so big things". I am thankful for the view I have living in the prairies, a good cup of coffee, sitting by a fire, reading a good blog (like this one)... and so much more.

I am thankful tht my Mum has reached her Official remission for Oesophageal cancer - 5 years!!! Considering the rarity of surviving the surgery and all the things that happened (57 days in hospital 50 in ICU) Nobody expected her to leave the hospital and here she is 5 years later determined to make the most of what she can do :)

That is definitely the best thing ever!!

Happy thanksgiving to you and your family :)

I am thankful for so much...health, friends, family, shelter, freedom, etc. Most of all, though, this year I am thankful for my father. It is because of his tireless efforts that I am the person I am today. I am flawed, to be sure, but I have a strong moral compass, a good heart and unfailing faith. I know how to ask for help and I know how to be a helper. These are the tools that help me to get through each day and try to create change in the world around me, starting with my children. I am thankful, indeed.

What a nice little treat to find on your blog this morning. I am mostly thankful for the wonderful parents that swooped me up and adopted me at 21 days of age. I lost my dad 7 years ago. He and my mom were/are the most loving and wonderful people. Next my 7-year old son. I had given up on thinking I would ever have children - he has brought a fierce happiness to my life:)
