Celebrate Lady!

What lady you ask? Little Lady of course. Little Lady was one of the first PTI stamp sets that I ever purchased. I always see it on the shelf and think...ohhhh I need to stamp with that today but alas...I have other things to stamp *smiles* So lucky me...I stamped with this sweet lil' ladybug.
This is such a simple card and took me about 15 minutes to make (those rub-ons take time to apply!). I cut the card base (kraft paper) to 4.5x4.5. Next I stamped randomly on the aqua mist paper using the flower from the set and white craft ink. Then I stamped celebrate with Black Palette ink. You'll notice that I have 3 white "dots" on the right hand side of the stamped ladybug image. Those are rub-ons as are the flowers and swirls on the spring moss strip at the bottom of the card. Next, I cut an embossed a circle using my nestabilities, stamped the solid base image in spring moss and then added the dots using black palette ink. As a final touch I rounded the corners at the bottom of the card and on the aqua mist paper.

Tip: Cut around the rub-on before applying it to paper. By cutting the image(s) you want you don't risk the chance of rubbing the wrong one off (trust me on this one *wink*)

I love this card! I just got the little lady set and I LOVE it! I have a quick question--how did you cut and emboss the circle? I have a cuddlebug and mine don't seem to look as nice as I've seen other done on your site and by other stampers. Do you use a different machine with your nestabilities? Please help! :)
