Before I begin anything today, I just have to tell you the most amazing story...it will be short I promise.
Last week I went to the post office a few times--ok more than that...I check it sometimes 2-3 times a day. We live in a small town so that is where our mail is delivered. Each time I went I smelled propane. Last Thursday the smell was atrocious. I decided to say something to the clerk since it was about the 3rd time I had smelled it. The first thing she said to me was "Thank You!". Apparently her and the other girl had been feeling sick on and off all week but that day it was especially bad. The fire department had been alerted before but they didn't believe it was anything to be concerned about as the odor didn't seem too bad. It turns out that the bakery (the owners are away right now) beside the post office had a propane leak...that leak had filled the entire bakery. They ended up shutting down the surrounding businesses and part of the street. Had it not been for my comment the whole building might have blown up!!!! It just goes to show you that it is worth sharing your thoughts. Thank goodness nothing happened and a crisis was averted.
Ok, now that I have shared my story here is a quick card that I made in preparation for Valentine's Day. It's hard to believe that is less than a month away. What do you think of the grey background??? It's fun to choose the background colour. Can you tell I am loving my purchase? I am still a little rusty but with time I will be very pleased with the quality of images...
