I honestly have NO idea how to start this post except to scream "wohooooooooooo!" I received a phone call from Liz Pomeroy owner of Cornish Heritage Farms followed by a phone call from miss MONA LISA (Lisa Strahl) Monday afternoon telling me that I was one of ten people chosen for their Fresh Faces design call. I can't tell you how excited I am to embark on this new adventure. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so much talent and look forward to sharing some CHF designs with you very soon.
I have the pleasure of working alongside the following Fresh Faces:
Lesley Langdon - ON, Canada
Linda Abadie - South Korea
Amanda McIlhatton - N. Ireland
Lisa Silver - MO, USA
Anne Sanborn - NH, USA
Kristine Reynolds - CA, USA
Mary Anderson - NH, USA
Dawn Lusk - OH, USA
Lori Craig - MO, USA
Congratulations to ALL the ladies above. I heard there were many applications. For those of you who applied and didn't get the call, I have to agree with Lisa (see her post)...just keep applying and submitting to future calls. There are so many talented people out there and I know there is a place calling you too!
Keeping on track with my postings, I am going to share another one of the submissions I sent to CHF. This one is by far my FAV submission. It was my 3-d altered item.
Paper: Outlaw DP, Kraft, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Black, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel
Stamp Set(s): Bronc Buster, Wanted
Accessories: Vintage Brads, Black Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Star Punch, Photo Corner Punch Hemp Twine, Sanding Block, Frame
Note: I sanded the edges of the photo frame to give it a more "rustic" appearance. I just LOVE how it turned out. I keep this frame on my desk so I can look at my cutie all the time!
I have so many fab new cards and projects to share with you I can hardly wait. Stay tuned for a new card using my Beautiful Blooms stamps from Papertrey Ink.
Because I love to stamp and you do too!
