A late post??? NEVER...heh...
My lil' Easter bunny has only seen the light of day twice before. Today's SCS challenge called Just Do It! is a challenge to find rubbah you haven't used much and USE IT! Last night I was working on a few projects that I plan to share in the next few days. I am away from my stamp room so I brought the stamp room with me...well not quite, but I did pack a tote full of stuff. I always feel a little out of my element when I don't have all my stamps, inks and paper at hand. Despite that, I managed to find just the right things to make this card.
I would like your honest opinion..I want you to critic this card. Tell me what would make it better. I am a firm believer that feedback or contructive criticism only makes you better. Of course I am proud of my designs but I strive to become better at what I do and for that reason I am asking you for your help. That's a big step for a perfectionist *lol*
I must tell you however that the pretty in pink cardstock actually does coordinate with the DP but somehow the camera/angle/lighting has altered the colour ever so slightly.

Hi! I've used that Chatterbox patterned paper recently and love it. Old Olive coordinates with it really well, so to make the Bunny image stand out more, I would mat it on Old Olive. Also, I would replace the dark (ribbon?) strip in the middle with some pink or white grosgrain ribbon tied in a knot(because I use ribbon on most of my cards!).
I love the Bunny image that you used - so cute! Great card! Have fun!
Hi! For what my two cents is worth, I would change out the creamy caramel and chocolate chip pieces of cardstock, like Denise mentioned. I would mat the bunny in pink, and exchange the creamy caramel paper with Old Olive. A fun, springy, polka dot ribbon would finish it off perfectly! I love this bunny, I have him too. One thing I did was cut the bunny out and mount him on a scallop circle and then put grass underneath his feet! He looked so cute that way and really popped on the card! Good luck, and way to be so open to constructive criticsm. We should all do more of that. You do such a great job with your cards, you really don't need much help at all!
Amy
I would like to see some bling on the top of the sentiment piece (3 pretty brads, strip of ribbon, etc)! I love it even w/out anything added ... :)
Ooooh...Aaaaan...love the new banner and the script and the post script...awesome!
Such a cute card! I think I agree with Amy, maybe a different color background - like the olive will bring out the paper more! Very cute though - and I love your new banner!
Love your new banner and title! fabulous! I always love your work...I really like this card! If I were going to add something...I'd add three little brads, one after each of the sentiments to give some balance to that side OR I'd zig zag stitch that right edge that the sentiments are on. But really...I think it is fine the way it is!
