My sweet little mini card...

I just love mini cards (3x3). They are super cute, quick and fun to make. I made this a few days ago in anticipation my busy day. Can you believe I didn’t make a single card today??? Tsk tsk.

Sweet Card Recipe

Paper: So Saffron, Whisper White, Petals and Paisleys DP
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip
Stamp Set(s): So Very, Petal Prints
Accessories: 3/8 circle punch, Gemstones (Hero Arts), Sponge Dauber, Sanding Block

We had some things to do today and as such took a trip to the other side of the island. It’s a long and scary journey at times and today was no exception. We encountered snow on both legs of the journey, a car accident and many cars in the ditch before me made it to the shopping mecca (haha not quite but more than the sticks where I live) and went to M’s! I decided to take a picture to show you some of the goodies I found and will treaure in the months to come.

They didn’t have all the things I wanted (marvy cirlce/oval scallop punches, cuttlebug folders etc) but I am sure I will find them online. As you can see, I also included my chipboard coasters in the photo. If you didn’t know, I organized an order of 5000 coasters and after calling every day for 2 weeks (I waited the first 5 days without calling them) I FINALLY got them. I have been slowly getting them to their destinations and by tomorrow the majority of the coasters will be shipping across Canada. I will be playing with my coasters in the afternoon and by days end I should be posting them here. I also plan to post a detailed tutorial for my portfolios on Friday. I have had a few requests to post the instructions and thought a tutorial might be in order. So stay tuned for more exciting things to come--including my draw tonight at 9PM PST (sure hope YOU win).

Because I love to stamp and you do too!

Cute card! You are so good to try to stamp everyday.

I haven't stamped or updated my blog for days.

BUT I have been busy making SQUASH BOOKS. Check out SCS's latest tutorial.

It only uses 2 costers but I've made 3 so far - so I'm slowly using up my 500 coasters!

If you need scallop punches you can try calling the store where I get mine in North Van (I also teach classes there). They do mail order and special order!
