Daily Designs and Daily Designs Sentiments Day 3

So are you ready for some more fun?  I have three cards to share with you today and the best part is that each card uses different images.

Yesterday one of my clues said "a little bird told me"...well here's the bird, some leafy branches and a "just a note" sentiment.  I began by stamping the bird in enchanted evening ink.  I wiped off the branch with a baby wipe and coloured it with a brown Tombo marker.  Then I stamped the sentiment "just a note".  Next I stamped the leafy branch 3 times across the paper and coloured it.  I added several layers of patterned paper, some ribbon and some buttons and finished it off with a scallop punch and a corner punch.

Tools: Copic Ciao markers, Fiskars scallop punch, Tombo Markers (to colour the branch), Corner Rounder by EK Success

Even though I am sure some of you are tired of the winter, it's always nice to receive a special card not to mention send one to a friend or family member.  The sentiment "warm winter wishes" will certainly brighten anyone's days!

I began by inking up my circle snowflake image using Spring Rain ink.  Next, I stamped my "warm winter wishes" sentiment using dark chocolate ink.  Then I punched it out using the circle nestabilities by Spellbinders.  Once the image was prepared I added stickles to the snowflake and set it aside to dry.  Then I prepared my layers.  I stamped the dark chocolate with Polka Dot Basics II using dark chocolate ink. I layered the remaining papers, tied a piece of American Crafts shimmery ribbon (my colour inspiration) and placed my focal image on pop dots.

As you know every release day so far I have revealed some clues about the set.  Well today I have no words to share...instead I thought I'd show you the heart strings image.  What do you think?  *wink*

I began my card by stamping the focal image in true back.  Next I punched the image using the circle nestabilities by Spellbinder.

Next, I inked my sentiment in pure poppy and re-inked "sweet" in pure black (you could also use the black Tombo marker).  Then I coloured the "strings" of the heart using a few different shades of red Copic markers.  Then I painted the "wings" with stickles.  I also stamped a strip of dark chocolate using Polka Dot Basics II using dark chocolate ink.

As a final touch I edged the card using the vintage touch tea dye duo: chamomile and chai blend and used the corner rounder on the bottom of the card.

I like them all, but I think I like the Just a Note one best--Love that little bird and the branch with leaves! Also love your use of dotted paper!

If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the snowflakes card. I love the warm winter wishes tag. The colors in the heartstrings card are gorgeous. The bird, branch, and leaves are also beautiful. Can't wait to get this new set and start inking up the stamps. Thanks for designing another amazing set.

Love them all, by my favourite is the first. Love the birdie and "leafy branch" and the colour combo is one that I use often in creating! Beautiful!

Oh, the birdie card is wonderful. I love the colors and the border stamp with the buttons. That's an intriguing sneak peak at the stamp set. :) Can't wait to see the full set.

They are all so sweet but I love the little bird best. Birds are one of my very favorite things so of course I fell for that one! Great colors and fun leafy border. I am so anxious to see the final reveal.

Love all the cards shown with the different stamp images. This will be a definite stamp set for me to place in my shopping cart come Friday!

They are all wonderful! How can we pick just one? The just a note card appeals to me so much because of the bright clear colors when we have had nothing but gray sky day after day! Can't wait to purchase these 2 sets!

I'm having trouble deciding a favorite between the first and third cards. The color in the first card may give it a slight edge. I also like the way you used the ribbon so that just a bit of the dots showed. The third card is so warm and cozy.

What a versatile set.

They are all so crisp and clean. Fabulous. The last one is my fav - love the hit of red (my fav colour) on the kraft (which I've been playing with lately). Great work. Gan't wait to see more.

I'm normally drawn to kraft, red and brown together (and love that 'tangly' heart!), but on this occasion I'd have to say the Just A Note card is my favourite. The little bird finishes the card beautifully - LOVE it!!
