Hello and a card!

First thing is first, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM--I love you! (I know she is reading out there!)

It's late Sunday night, well especially since daylight savings kicked in today and of course this post is my Monday post...I just got home and still haven't had a chance to take photos of my recent SU! cards so I am going to post one last MFT By the Seashore card (ok, I am sure you will see more in the future but this is the last one for a while).

Stay tuned for some winter fun SU! style. I took an old favourite Solemn Stillness and a new set and am delighted with how they turned out.

Anyone out there like me who is anxiously awaiting the unveiling of the new catty? It's hard to believe but it is just around the corner. Who doesn't like a fresh catalogue with new ideas? I am so so soooooooo happy that SU! listened to it's demonstrators and customers and now has 2 catties every year. I have mentioned this before (many months ago!) but will say it again...stamp sets and supplies need refreshing every six months at the very least. As a SU! demonstrator, who has been with the company almost 4 years now, I know all to well the need for a "feeling of excitement" so all I can say now is BRING IT ON!

All Bazzill Cardstock and DP available through Paper Pretties

recipe

paper: Cardstock Vellum (SU!), Urban Window Collection DP (We R Memory Keepers), Bazzill
ink: Brillance Graphite Black (Tsukineko)
stamp set(s): By the Seashore (MFT, Paper Pretties Oct subscription box)
accessories: Buttons (SU!) Oval Punch (SU!) Copic Markers, Stylus (SU!) Ribbon (We R Memory Keepers)

I hope you had a good weekend. I am glad to be home but am exhausted after all the driving. I am looking forward to a new week filled with LOTS of stamping...and a bit more traveling too (sigh).

Because I love to stamp and you do too!

November MFT

The newest MFT set is this beautiful beach set called By the Seashore. For someone who practically lives on this beach, I couldn't be happier to own it.

During SIYJ Sunday night I had the opportunity to play with this set and some beautiful fall colours (rust, gold and dark purple). If you remember correctly, Christie Ortman, owner of Paper Pretties issues a challenge and we have 1 hour to complete it. This card was created for the colour challenge.

recipe

paper: Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Really Rust, So Saffron (SU!)
ink: Brillance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Really Rust
stamp set(s): By the Seashore (MFT/Paper Pretties Oct Subscription)
accessories: Copic Ciao Markers, Corner Rounder (SU!), Spool Ribbon, Sponge, Fire Rhinestone Brads (SU!)

I don't know where this week went! They seem to be disappearing really quickly since September. Anyone else experiencing that too?

Elvis is in the house?

The news is out. Yes, you read that right. If you are an Elvis fan boy do we have some exciting news to share: CORNISH HERITAGE FARMS recently signed a licensing agreement with Elvis Presley/Graceland. That means you are going to be able to purchase some great stamps one of which will be the Thomas Kinkade painting of Graceland which is absolutely fabulous. There is no release date set for these stamps yet but we'll keep you posted.

One of the benefits to receiving CHF's newsletter is finding out the deets as soon as they are made possible. In CHFs newsletter (just released 5 minutes ago) you can learn about the November stamp of the month club, new CHF news and much more. Make sure you sign up so you can be the first to know!

In addition, if you have been waiting for the Thomas Kinkade: Skaters Pond Vignette, it has now officially been released.

In addition the October Online Referral Program draw has taken place (drawn randomly) and the three winners are:

Holly B - $25.00
Bonnie R - $15.00
Joan B - $10

Congrats ladies!

Ok that is all for now.

Because I love to stamp and you do too!

A little while ago, I contacted the talented Ellen Hutson to order some goodies! Well today the first of those goodies arrived. I am now a proud owner of the Spellbinders Nestabilities. Ellen provided fabulous customer service. I am also pleased with Ellen's product knowledge, have you seen her blog tutorials? I can hardly wait for the rest of the goodies to find there way to my house. Thank you again Ellen! Make sure you check out her store for some of my favourite things: Copics, Spica Pens and Nestabilities.
I can hardly wait to show you some of the new cards I made using the Nestabilities.
